WOOLSTORE APARTMENT

TONIC undertook the renovation of an apartment in the iconic and heritage listed Winchcombe Carson Woolstores in Teneriffe. The original brick walls, timber floors, solid timber columns and beams are left exposed as references to the building’s industrial origins. The clients wanted to refresh the kitchen and bathrooms, lighten up the deep apartment plan, and utilize the high ceilings to create smart storage and an open and inviting living space that maximalizes the functional space available, while also making the space appear large and full of light.

 Subtle changes in the floor plan kept the generous sized master and kid’s bedrooms while making space for a walk-in pantry, cloakroom, and study nook.
