MODERN WORK ENVIRONMENT

Demonstrating that not all commercial offices are equal “GO1 HQ” merges traditional functional elements of a modern office interior with generously proportioned and meticulously designed social and hospitality spaces. Created as the Head Quarters for GO1 Australia’s most diverse online learning content aggregator, TONIC were tasked with the complete renovation of an existing building and the creation of a space that suited the creativity and diversity of staff workspace requirements. The design focused on a social hospitality hub, rationalised as a voluminous central atrium space containing a commercial café – bar, flexible dining, lounging, working and meeting spaces which were physically and visually connected to open plan office seating spaces and private meeting rooms. Rather than creating a traditional reception lobby or entry a pivotal design decision was to prioritise pedestrian entry to the building through a large covered landscape space to the side of the building prioritising connection to the social hospitality hub as central to the building. Designing the whole building renovation allowed us to curate external Architecture seamlessly with Interior design elements creating a uniquely symbiotic spatial experience for occupants.
